Back in March, I received an interview request from Jasmine to be a guest on her podcast, Bet On Yourself Sis!
Bet On Yourself Sis! shares the voices of Black women entrepreneurs, giving you an inside look into our journeys navigating the ins and outs of running a business. On the episode, I share insights into the cannabis industry and how I incorporate the plant into my cooking. We also chat about the stigma surrounding cannabis use, and the importance of self-care and rest for personal and professional growth.
Here are a few gems from our conversation:

When it comes to pivoting, I shared why it’s such an important part of entrepreneurship it’s what tests your longevity! Ask just about any entrepreneur and they’ll tell you that the business they’re working on now is not the business they started with. And that’s okay it’s actually normal. Your clients’ needs will change, and so will yours. To be successful, your business should grow with them.
To hear our full conversation, check out Episode 23 of Bet On Yourself Sis! where I talk about the pivots I’ve made since starting Faded Living in 2021.
